Twitter launches ambitious new phase with changes in your schedule

The social network Twitter this week opened a new stage, with the appointment of Jack Dorsey as permanent CEO of his publishing debut project “Moments”, launching a video tool for advertisers and the promise of “big changes “in 2016.

The network, which was released nine years ago and has 300 million users, reported revenues of 938 million dollars (828 million euros) in the first half of this year, but still lost $ 299 million in the period and accumulates 1,900 million dollars (1.677 million euros) in the red since its inception.

Facebook, by contrast, has spent years making money and has made the price of its shares have doubled since its stock market debut in 2012, while Twitter is trading slightly above 26 dollars (22.9 euros ) of its release in 2013.

Hence, the company has promised an aggressive strategy of changes in its product line to reassure increasingly impatient with red numbers and stagnation in the number of users investors.
